Birka Cup, Handmade
This small, Viking Age cup is based on the find from grave mound 772 in Birka, Sweden. The cup is wholly handmade here in Sweden without a potter’s wheel, just as the original was made over 1000 years ago.
In order to make it more durable and easier to clean, it’s made from stoneware with a glazed inside. This allows it to be washed in a dish washer and it can also withstand a microwave oven.
- Holds approx. 2 dl (7 oz)

- The glazing can be matt or glossy depending on the batch
